Description: Ibrahim Nuhu Kankia is a young, agile, and action-oriented entrepreneur. He’s the founder and Creative Director of the famous Afro-centric cuisine plug, KOSAI REPUBLIC. Currently, He’s a prospective Pharmacist at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, where he serves as the Incumbent Chairman Chairmen of their Student Representative Council. His unwavering commitment to leadership and personal development made him co-found the Readers Hub, ABU Chapter, where they actively promote extracurricular reading, literacy, and the right attitude for success among ABU Students. He is the G17 University Consortium Coordinator for Ahmadu Bello University. In 2022, Ibrahim was appointed as the SDG Coordinator for his campus by the United Nations Sustainable Development Solutions Network, he pioneered the SDG Students Hub ABU where they work to ensure that all students in the university/campus are aware of the SDGs, understand their importance to the wider community, and have opportunities to take action towards their implementation during their studies, and after they graduate. As a lifelong learner and bibliophile, Ibrahim is a member of numerous national and international forums, that allow him to gain exposure and sharpen his skills in effective communication, Team management, and Stakeholder engagement. He obtained a Certificate in Foundational Leadership Principles from Harvard University, he also earned certificates in project management, stakeholder engagement, foundational advocacy, and Community organization for Action among other Certifications. In 2022 and 2023, Ibrahim was awarded bronze and platinum awards respectively by Global Sustainability Futures Network, United Kingdom in recognition of his tireless efforts in promoting youth development, advocacy for sustainable development goals, and sustainable practices. Ibrahim is an SDG Ambassador, Global Citizen, and Malaria Youth Champion at African Leaders Malaria Allegiance.
