Description: Promise is a mental health advocate with more than 5 years of experience advocating for the mental health of young people, especially young Africans in Africa and Africans in Diaspora. Her overwhelming impact in the mental health ecosystem stems from the place of lived experience. Through her organization, she has partnered with several local and global organizations to implement mental health education or service projects. Her work has received global recognition by renowned organizations like the IAYMH, IPLN, ASPIRE King’s College London, where she serves as an Advisor, SPECTRUM University of Oxford, where she also serves as a youth mental health advisor, amongst many others.
